  • Mixer grinder, frying pan


  • 1 cup Raw Peanuts
  • 1/2 cup Poppy Seed
  • 2 tbsp Sliced onions
  • 1 tbsp Garlic and green chili paste
  • 1 tbsp Corn floor
  • 1/2 tbsp Besan powder
  • 1 tbsp coriander leaves
  • 1/2 cup Oil for fry the cutlets
  • Salt as per taste


  • Take one cup Raw Peanut.
    Raw Peanut
  • Take 1/3 Cup Poppy Seed.
    Poppy Seed or Posto dana
  • Grind Raw peanuts and poppy seed or posto dana first in the mixer just to break the particles evenly.
  • Then, add some water, 1 green chili, salt as per taste, and 5-6 garlic cloves, and make them a smooth paste.

  • Add sliced onions, corn flour, red chili powder, Besan, and sliced green chili into the mixture.

  • Take a frying pan and add some oil to it.
  • Keep the gas in medium flame.
  • Take some water in your palm, take some peanut dough in your palm and give it a cutlet shape.
  • Like wise make all the culets from the dough.
  • Once the oil in the pan is heated then add one to two cutlets and make them fry.
  • When one side of the cutlet was fried then change it to another side.
  • Like wise do for all the cutlets and serve the tasty snack.

Important note for this Peanut Poppy Seed Cutlet is always use Raw Peanut to make the Tikki. Do not forget to add Poppy seed as it enhances the taste of the Peanut Tikki.
