  • 1 Pressure Cooker
  • 2 Spatula


  • 1 Cup Dalia or Broken Wheat Any Brand Packet Dalia you can use
  • 2 Tbsp Ghee
  • 4 Cup Water
  • 2-3 Cup Milk
  • 2 Cup Sugar You can increase or decrease the quantity of sugar depending on your choice and taste
  • 4-5 Pc Cashew Roasted and Chopeed
  • 4-5 Pc Almonds Roasted and Chopeed
  • 4-5 Pc Kismis Roasted and Chopeed
  • 3-4 Pc Cardamom or Elaichi Crushed


  • First, take 1 Cup of Daliya or broken wheat.

  • Put a Pressure Cooker in Gas on medium flame.
  • Once the Cooker is hot, then add ghee or sunflower oil 2 spoon.
  • Add a Bay leaf into the hot oil or ghee and saute for 2-3 seconds.
  • Then, put all the Daliya into the cooker. Mix the Daliya for just 5-7 seconds.
  • After that add 4 cups of water to it.
  • Then, add 1/2 Cup of Sugar into it. Mix well and cover the lid of the cooker.
  • Once 2 Whistles are done then keep the gas flame slow and let 3-4 whistles come.
  • After 10-15 minutes when the cooker is cool and open the lid and put it on the gas stove on medium flame.
  • Check if the Daliya or broken wheat is now smooth or not.
  • Add 2 Cup of Boiled Milk into it and continuously stir with a spatula.
  • Now, you can add 2-3 cardamom powder to it. If you prefer Cashew, Almond and Raisins then fry them and add them here now.
  • Continuously mix the milk and Daliya for at least 8-10 minutes and your Daliya Kheer is ready to eat and serve.


Important Note for this Daliya Kheer Recipes are
  1. Do not fry Raw Daliya for more than 1 minute else it will burn and no taste will be there.
  2. Try to use Ghee instead of Oil so that a nice aroma will come.
  3. Do not wait for a long time to eat otherwise Daliya will be sticky. If you have to eat after 2-3 hr then before eating add some milk and heat it on the gas stove and then eat.
